Interview With Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy

Justice Anthony Kennedy was nominated to the bench by President Ronald Reagan. He has been serving as a Supreme Court Associate Justice since 1988. He was preceded by Justice Lewis F. Powell, Jr. In this interview, Justice Kennedy sat down with C-SPAN in the West Conference Room of the Supreme Court to give us his impressions on the role of the Supreme Court, the process that the Justices follow in reaching a decision, and the importance of the building in which they do their work.
