Interview With Associate Justice Samuel Alito

In this program, Justice Alito gives a rare television interview since joining the Court on Jan. 31, 2006. Nominated by President George W. Bush, he was preceded by Sandra Day O'Connor. In the interview, he talks about the role of the Court, his impressions of the Constitution and of his job. In addition to the process that unfolds at the Court in making decisions, he also talks about the role of the Junior Justice, something that he’s handed over to new Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
